Account Coordinator


  • Previous experience with customer relationships, or client interaction
  • Strong English and Communication skills (French language skills are an asset)
  • Degree in Marketing/Communications or other
  • High attention to detail
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills (in particular Word, Excel and PowerPoint)
  • 1-2 years’ experience in an office setting
  • Good sense of humour, flexible in approach and able to think on your feet
  • Curious with a willingness to learn
  • Intermediate Darts and/or Karaoke skills


Client Business Management

Under the direction of an Account Supervisor and/or Manager, assist in the day-to-day operations of all client projects:

  • Contribute to the preparation of budget estimates and obtaining approvals.
  • Build and maintain project schedules using Trigger’s management information system, Advantage.
  • Generate meeting agendas, take meeting notes and create contact/status reports.
    • Create work orders for projects going into the production studio (with proper specs, dimensions, required information etc.).
    • Schedule internal pass-off meetings and internal reviews.
  • Participate in briefing projects to team members.
    • Ensure materials are reviewed by appropriate teams (through production, creative and proofreading).
  • standards, and are approved by department leads prior to client review.
  • Oversee ongoing promotions and projects working closely with external and internal stakeholders and providing timely customer service to participants.
  • Troubleshoot project delays or changing specifications to ensure deliverables (costs and timing) are achieved as planned, or adjusted as parameters change.
  • When project parameters do change, work with the Account Supervisor and/or Manager to proactively create change order revisions to original budget estimates and obtain approvals.
  • Maintain client records (such as creative files, competitive information, general business management records), and importantly, client job files on the server.
  • Work toward being an expert on all clients within your portfolio, including news, information and research; ensure key information is shared with team members.
  • Participate in providing content for Trigger’s blog and other social media channels.
